Bio

Laura Bibbs is a freelance trumpet player primarily working from NYC and LA. In 2015, Laura moved to Boston to study orchestral trumpet with Thomas Siders, earning her bachelor’s degree in trumpet performance from Boston Conservatory at Berklee. She then moved to New York City where she pursued a master’s degree in contemporary performance at the Manhattan School of Music, there she studied with Jon Faddis and Brandon Ridenour. Faddis’s mentorship deeply shaped Bibbs’s developing career, inspiring her to pursue her musical passions in any and all genres.

Since graduating, Bibbs has performed in notable venues across the globe, including Madison Square Garden, Boston’s Symphony Hall, the KIA Forum, and Wembley Stadium. In 2022, Bibbs had the honor of performing with Harry Styles at his headlining Coachella performance, performing in Watermelon Sugar and the world premiere of his song Late Night Talking from the Harry’s House album. Bibbs would go on to join the tour, completing the North American and European legs of Love on Tour. Performing 15 sold out nights at both Madison Square Garden and the KIA Forum, 4 nights at Wembley Stadium, as well as closing the tour at RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia, with over 100,000 people in attendance. In 2024, she began working with Mumford & Sons. In 2025, Bibbs officially hit the road touring and performing with the group globally, showcasing their newest record Rushmere.

Bibbs has also been seen in a variety of horn sections live and recorded, including live performances with Dhruv for Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a headlining performance with Cautious Clay for Summer Stage in NYC. The BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn festival with Adi Oasis and more recently with Mumford & Sons, headlining NCAA March Madness Music Festival.
